About A² Creepy Crawly Co.

Created from our love of spiders, reptiles, insects, aquariums, and all the wonderfully unusual creatures that make this hobby so rewarding, A² Creepy Crawly Co. grew from our own experiences caring for them and from constantly looking at everyday husbandry challenges and thinking, “We can make something better for that.”

Our Story

We’re Andrew and Ashley, two crazy middle-aged kids with dreams in our hearts and stars in our eyes. Oh, and a love of animals and the creepy crawly. Over the past several years, we have shared our home with a host of friends, including Bob, our painted agama, Ozzy and Mordy, our two leopard geckos, more fish than I care to name, two dogs, Alainn and Sasha, and seven cats (also more than I care to name). Along with our pets, we also keep a colony of dubia roaches and working mealworm and superworm farms.

A² Creepy Crawly Co. really started because we were already making things for ourselves.

Most of our ideas come from something we want to use in one of our own setups. We design it, print it, try it out, and live with it for a while. Sometimes it works great the first time. Sometimes we realize pretty quickly that something needs changed and head right back to the drawing board.

The things we offer through A² Creepy Crawly Co. are the designs that make it through that process, the things we actually use ourselves and end up liking enough that we want to share them with other people who enjoy these animals too.

The A² stands for Andrew and Ashley, and this is something we’re building together as we go. We’re still very much at the beginning, and we’re excited to see where our animals, our ideas, and probably more than a few rolls of filament take us next.
